Cameron found what she needed and came back out of the bathroom. The TV was there in the living room and she thought about turning it on, but then thought better of it. Once she had the splinter out.. Then she would scare him with it.
She sat down beside him and turned toward him. She laid out the first aid kit in her lap and held up the needle. It was clean, she'd dunked it in alcohol in the bathroom and nothing in her house was ever particularly dirty..
She took hold of his hand gently and pulled it closer to her face so she could have a good look at his hand.
"A television show, apparently. Like a movie, only shorter.. well, run time I mean. A movie can take hours, a tv show can be shorter than that. I haven't tried to watch it myself. I don't want to know. I think it's a bunch of lies honestly. Me? from a tv show. Honestly. I'm as real as.." oh. Yeah. She lowered her head a little.
"At least I feel real. I don't know." She took the needle and as gently as she could started to move the splinter closer to the opening in his hand so she could get it out with some tweezers she had in her lap as well.
