He may not know what a movie or TV series was, but he understood her explanation of fiction. She thought Hood was not real? She was in for a rude awakening. Wait until she found out that his enemy was here as well.
“Robin Hood is very real, Lady Allison,” he explained, calming down enough to have a conversation. This woman didn’t seem worried about him losing his temper, though. Guy actually didn’t question her sanity for the comment that Hood was fiction. Allison herself had said that they were from different times. He was beginning to believe that might be true. It was all very strange.
“He’s here. In this City somewhere. Waiting for me or hiding from me, possibly.” Hood would be cowardly enough to hide and wait to ambush him at some point when he thought Guy had let his guard down. Which he would never do. Guy would keep his guard up as long as he knew Hood was here and blaming Guy for something. Something more than the usual, anyway.
“You know of Hood but you think he is not real? The books you read about him were from history books, surely.” Guy wondered what the history books had to say about him. And if they told of what happened to them all.
