Jeannie frowned slightly as the girl made a beeline for her, ignoring the others in the room. She was not someone that the djinn knew, so she did not understand why she should act in such a way. It was a little rude.
As was the way the girl stared at her. That was more than rude, actually. It was terribly unsettling. She opened her mouth to say something about it when the girl spoke.
But what she said made no sense at all. Jeannie turned to look down the hall, but there was no one there, so she did not understand what the girl meant.
