The people she thought belonged in the City, those who were born here, didn't seem very eager to share. Or maybe they would. A little girl came running up and stood in front of the magic man, expectantly - she knew who he was. In fact, she held up an orange for him.
"You have a fan?" Zoe couldn't help but smile at it. The little girl seemed very insistent all without saying a word, just holding up the orange and staring at the man. Yes, she was waiting for some magic. "Maybe it could work."
People weren't gathering exactly, but they were slowing down to see why the little girl would be holding an orange out to someone. Zoe was a little curious herself about it.
