Didi looked back at the world of mundane everyday chaos behind her. Staring forward again Didi eyed Errol's quiche and contemplated ordering something. She opened her mouth to do so when the waiter appeared apologetically, interrupting their conversation and setting a second plate in front of her, "I'm so sorry there was a mix up in the orders and we accidentally made a second one. This one is on the house, okay?"
"Thanks!," Didi replied grinning. Taking her fork she promptly cut herself a bite of deliciously flaky crust with baked egg, cream cheese and smoked fish. Normally she treasured simple delights like apples but a meal like this deserved to be an exception.
