Her brow lifted. If it dies, they die. Well, that was good to know. Very good to know. But...her head tilted as she looked at the figure within the circle. Baba set aside any thoughts of taking over for now; she was slightly intrigued by this thing, and she did believe in knowing brought power.
"You do know that your boast means little to me? The one of doing things I cannot conceive, living millions of years?" She waved away any answer it might give. The male was boring her, somewhat. The body might have made for an interesting toy; a cruel smile flashed over her lips as she thought of Dexter playing with it. Now that would have been amusing.
"What sort of power will you give?" She was close to the circle again, her toes just at the edge of the markings. All she'd need to do was smudge just one and it'd be free. She wasn't doing that quite yet. "What could you give me and what will you ask as a favor?"
It wasn't telling her the full truth, even she could tell that. Then again, it was playing it smart. To tell her everything might cause problems; she might use it, and it knew enough to know that she could and would use it. She did want to live, so that would keep it and her safe for a time. But, the future really was open for anyone to guess at.
