She could use a hive, but she hated having to think like that. Fabletown had that hive mentality at times, other times it was certainly a mob mentality. They depended too much on each other and not enough on their individuality.
"You want to create a civilization..." The sorceress wasn't going to repeat everything the male said; it was silly and showed a lacking ability to process information. Or at least process it quickly. "For what purpose?"
"How do you determine who you bring here? What is it you're trying to cultivate?" That was the purpose of civilizations, wasn't it? Cultivation of some sort? "Or is it conquering?" Another reason for civilization. Most thought that civilizations were a result of cultivation, but civilizations were just a method by which beings cultivated land, people, culture. It was the way of the world. Civilizations also conquered. She liked conquering; she liked being on the winning side.
