"Humans or those that are aware of the moment. There are some animals who are aware." Baba watched his face, watched his eyes; he was intelligent, very intelligent. He had something within him, and the sorceress was certainly going to enjoy it. Her hand tapped over his heart before she stepped around him to the table.
"I don't want its head. I have what I want." Claiming the jar with the blood and the eyes, she also smudged the pattern that had captured the Cupid as she wanted. The world didn't change immediately, but soon there was a quick claiming rush and then a poof, a poof of nonexistence. Baba smiled. So the City didn't want its creation to be harmed, or it didn't want its creation to be played with by others.
"Interesting." She looked at the jar and quickly marked it with a bloody pattern. Her head nodded slightly to herself as the jar didn't simply disappear. "The City is certainly not in the mood to let us play, is it?"
She looked back at him, brow raised. There was a definitely pleased smile, as if they had just discovered a secret, a treasure. The City had just revealed a little bit of its hand perhaps. It wasn't something she planned on serving, but she could think of using it. Whatever it was.
"What do you do to find your prey, Dexter? An evil sort? Well, I would be your first choice, so perhaps you should devise another method to find your prey?" She smiled up at him, brow raised. She would have been perfect for his hunting, but she wasn't going to be on the menu in any way.
