Bones withdrew her hand when it wasn't taken. It wasn't a shock. This wasn't exactly the most conventional of men. She didn't know what kind of man he was, but he was strange. It would probably be in her best interest to let him get on his way.
She sighed when he went on to describe pretty much nothing she hadn't already begun to gather herself. Either she was dreaming and he was just a mean figment of her imagination, or she was truly here and this City had just thrown him in her path. Either way, she wasn't sure she liked it. Sweeney was his name, was it? Well, at least he'd given her that much.
His smile was something crooked. It didn't frighten her so much as make her want to shudder. She supposed he was nice enough, but she could tell he'd rather be somewhere else. "Well... thank you for your help. I'll let you off to see to that bottle of Whiskey." She gave him another smile, releasing him from his self-inflicted obligation to provide her with information.
