Apologizing was never something that sat well with Firekeeper, though she would unfailingly admit when something was her fault. She was much more uncomfortable about actual transgressions than the admission of them, and nearly attacking and infecting someone that she considered a friend with whatever had infected her was a nearly unforgivable act. At least human apologies didn't involve groveling with one's belly in the air. Mere words were somehow less humiliating.
She was visibly relieved at his absolution of her, though. And downright happy to hear what he had to say about Blind Seer. The wolf seemed pleased as well, dipping his head somberly to Robin. The mood was somewhat broken when he wheeled back around at the squirrel, who had cautiously started to edge back.
Firekeeper looked happily after him. "He is," she said, not elaborating any further. She didn't think she had to. She knew how Blind Seer was.
"Is good to hear. I am glad for you. This city no longer as..." she trailed off, looking for the right word. It was doubly hard to find the one she was thinking of and then see if she knew a word to translate it to. "Scary," she finally decided, though it wasn't quite right. "Not as scary for me. Getting used to noise, sight, sound. Am living in it sometimes." She looked around, wide-eyed at the decorations and bustle around them. "Who knows why? But will enjoy both. Even if very strange."
