Firekeeper had been confused at this sudden new human tradition (and the decorations--those strange things looked absolutely nothing like a real heart), but she couldn't help but be enchanted by the spectacle at the park. Blind Seer trotted alongside her, as caught up in the new smells and sights as Firekeeper was with the goings-on and food. Her face was sticky with cotton candy (much too sweet for her taste, but still somehow delicious today) as she gaped in open astonishment at the fire breather.
Being fuzzier and therefore very likely more flammable, Blind Seer hung well back. Besides, there were squirrels to chase. He felt like a puppy again.
