"Tink." Jack repeated. His smile felt as if it was going to break his face. Which just made him smile all the more. He had a fairy! She was tiny and adorable and all his. ALL HIS! Jack couldn't believe his luck.
"I'm Jack, Tink."
He loved the sound of bells at every movement. He loved the sound of bells when she spoke.
Oh, she was so tiny and fantastic.
"I shall show you my world, my teeny love! I shall take you to the asylum and show you our kingdom! We'll walk in the park! We'll smell flowers at the botanical garden! We'll spray paint giant phallic images on the sides of buildings. We'll dress up as pandas and go to the movies! Anything you want! Everything you want!"
It didn't even occur to Jack that this might have something to do with that Cupid. Nope. Not even a second was spent on that idea. Instead, he was sure that this was exactly what it seemed to be. Love at first sight. He'd never in his life felt it before, but surely this must be it. It was all consuming. The fire in him threatened to take over.
"Where have you been all my life, Tink?" His hand was held close to his face so that he could see her. As much of her as possible. He didn't even care at all that she was so small. They could make it work, couldn't they?
