Jack thought a bug flew into him at first. He waved his arms around wildly to try to get it off. But when he focused, he saw what it really was. No bug, far from it. He'd never seen anything like it in his entire life, but it was hard to mistake it from what he'd read about and saw on television.
She was a fairy.
And if that wasn't enough, right as he was looking at her, he was bombarded by arrows from that Cupid thing. He didn't even notice. His heart just swelled at the sight of her and his grin spread impossibly.
"Oh!" He said, the love filling his heart, all thoughts of Harley melting away completely.
"Oh, you're so beautiful. You're so lovely." Jack held out his hand for her, giving her a place to rest so that she wouldn't wear herself out trying to fly. He wanted to make her a little castle. With a plush red velvet chaise where she could lay all day and wait for him to wait on her hand and foot. He would find a way to give those tiny feet massages without crushing her.
