Anita gratefully grabbed his hand. It had taken her a long time and lot of blows before she started to gracefully accept help from other people. She still didn't always manage the gracefully part, especially if whoever was helping was being a jerk about it, but in this situation she was more than willing to be a lady about it.
However, when his hand touched her back to steady her, the ardeur swept over her. She couldn't yet tell if it was affecting him or not.
She closed her eyes and moaned, then made the effort to respond to him verbally, not physically. That could wait until she saw if the ardeur was working on him. She wasn't getting any vampire or real magical readings on him, just a sense of hidden age and something she wasn't familiar with.....yet.
"I just didn't realize how windy it was getting. Having a problem walking. Bad night."
Her fingers slid down to grab his of their own volition, then squeezed his hand.
"Streets keep moving around on me, it's like the City doesn't really want me to get home."
