"You've quite the tale, Captain." They were all names that he mostly didn't know. Places, yes. That he could follow. But for the others, well. He might have to look in the City Library to see if there was anything that could give him clues. He was very interested in everything that Jack was saying. Information he didn't know was always intriguing to Hannibal. "Please, I'm anxious to hear the rest of your story."
He took long swallows of the rum, feeling more relaxed now than he had been. But his guard wasn't let down in the least. One of the things Hannibal was most proud of about himself was his ability to keep his senses sharp, no matter what.
"Please, I urge you, continue."
There was no other place he could get stories like this one. Already, it was storing itself in his mind, and creating vivid images to go along with itself. A little bit more information, and Hannibal might find himself needing to paint.
