Cameron hated this line of conversation. It was almost the same thing that House had said. That she needed to try and fix a hopeless case. But she had loved her husband. She still loved her husband. She didn't feel she needed to suffer, or wanted the pity or any of that.
If any of that was the actual case, then Cameron was honestly unaware of needs, or wants, that she possessed. Instead of getting sadder about it, she bristled at the line of conversation. Anger filled her.
"We're not talking about this any more Dr. Lecter. I'm not a patient. I'm a co-worker. If you want to hear the inner workings of my personal life, I guess you'll have to become my friend and outside this office. But I will not sit here and discuss what happened in my past for your own personal pleasure." Cameron was angry, it lapped off her in waves.
She didn't like him right no. She didn't want to be here anymore. But if he really was her boss she wasn't going to run off and tell Wilson. She was professional. It'd stay here, and she'd stay here.
"You really don't know me very well, so stop trying to explain me. Once you have 2 years of working side by side with me then you can start this conversation again."
