"It means I wasn't focused on it as much as I had been. Sure, there was a time I thought I could help House, but I've been with him for a long time. I know better now. Even in my wildest dreams I can't expect more than what I already have. A good teacher. An excellent doctor." Cameron said quickly. It was all true though, wasn't it? Was she questioning herself now?
Could House have ever cared for anyone more than himself? Cameron was searching her thoughts.
"Do you ever find yourself looking at yourself? Seeing what puts you together?" Cameron was watching his eyes, they were strange. Different. An odd color that caught the light in a weird.. haunting way. It almost made the fear surge forward, almost.
He changed the subject.
"I admire the kind of doctor he is and what he has to deal with. I admire that he's about the only person who's always there when someone needs them. But." She left it at that. She didn't need to go off gossiping about what wasn't good about Wilson. The women he dated. The wives he left. The people he cheated on. Sometimes it made her sick to her stomach how Wilson could do that. Sometimes. "There's a lot of people I admire." She finished.
