Well, if that wasn't creepy she didn't know what was. Cameron instantly got chills about it. She was afraid, maybe the book and the movies had been a little much for her. She wasn't afraid of death, or of people who were sick and dying. But there was something about a person who ate people that freaked her out. "I think they wanted to show that even someone who's a murderer can still love someone." Cameron said slowly.
At least, that's what she thought.
The more he went on, the more Cameron's fear rose. Her heart rate was racing now. Thankfully she wasn't hooked up to anything, and he likely couldn't tell just by looking at her. Her face remained as straight as possible. Maybe he was kidding.
Maybe this was a hazing thing.
The comment about House, however, had her moving. Awkwardly. She adjusted her hair behind her ears.
"I had, at one point. He made it very clear that there was nothing between us and I moved on. An attraction. He's an interesting person, and thinks in a way no one else I know does. I suppose you could say I had a crush. But he's not here now, and back where I'm from we've both gotten over whatever it was either of us felt at the time." Clean, crisp, almost robotic in the way she spoke about it.
