The thought of therapy amused the City in a way that it couldn't really express. The small smile it managed was neither normal-looking, nor particularly amused, even though that's what it had been going for.
"The shift was." It thought for a moment. "Something that was needed, even though I wasn't particularly happy about it. There were some elements that needed to ... go." It looked down at the feet it had created for itself. "There were other outside influences as well. I don't think you're quite ready for that, however."
It took a seat in one of the plush chairs. The sensation of comfort was lost on it.
"You think that you can help me? With your profession. I have to admit that I'm not quite sure what you mean. Please explain."
