The store's proprietor was busy downstairs; she was a little tied up, but that didn't mean the shop was empty. On the contrary. There was certainly someone coming from the small area behind the counter. She'd found some of the proprietor's finer wardrobe pieces and had opted for those instead of the jeans and such. She'd been stuck in jeans for longer than she liked, especially since they were the same pair of jeans she'd been captured in. A soft cough and a smile was the only warning the somewhat attractive man received that he was not alone.
"How might I help you?" The sunglasses were the only "modern" contrivance. They might not have matched the Tea Leaves appropriate attire, but they meant she could see without too much trouble. Pale eyes stared out from behind the glasses; she fudged a little on the appearance for now. She'd only have to make a quick story to explain how she had eyes instead of disgusting burnt out sockets.
"Have you come for a reading?" Not that she'd touch the seer's cards; even if she wanted to claim the woman's life for now, the impostor wasn't going to chance anything with the cards. She'd open a new deck and start from there. Or she'd simply look at a palm.
