"And into what?" Perry asked, deciding to press on what was obviously a sore point with her. That was what he enjoyed doing; finding people's weak spots and exploiting them for fun. 'Course, there was always a reasoning behind it, but right now he was irritated and didn't particularly care.
Had he been at home or somewhere a little warmer, he wouldn't have hesitated to undress down to his boxer shorts. Perry wasn't exactly ashamed of his body; you wouldn't meet many men in their forties with abs like his. Still, he was using the cold around him as an excuse to stay clothed, as - being a doctor - he knew that undressing and wrapping himself in the blanket would be much, much better for him than staying in the cold, wet clothes.
Still, the fact that it would be over soon was good news at least. He sat for a few minutes shivering before giving up, standing up, and unzipping his jacket. He couldn't sit in the cold in wet clothes any longer.
He stripped off the jacket as fast as he could, pulled off his shirt, and snagged the blanket, not caring whether he unsettled the cat in the sleeping bag or not. He wrapped it around himself and sat back down, the jeans still disgustingly wet against his legs, but at least he could focus on drying his top half.
