Zoe nodded slightly at the rundown, but she went through the cellar's contents anyway. She looked up at the sheet; privacy was all well and good, but it didn't keep anyone warm at night. Plus, the toilet was one source of water - not a pleasant one, and probably not the best - they couldn't exactly boil it. Alcohol wasn't an option yet either.
"A day maybe. Have you had any food? Tried anything?" Zoe stepped closer to Jennifer and started to look at her as best as she could in the limited light. Just looking really. "Have you had anything to drink?"
Perhaps it was a good thing Zoe hadn't seen the cat quite yet. Then again, she didn't know how long they were going to be stuck in the cellar either. It didn't matter. The cat could be a possible food source - dead, or a heat source - alive. But that bridge wasn't even visible yet.
