"I don't know. I've lost track of time. There's no light in here to let me know." She tried to get an idea of the time outside. "At least a day."
She sighed and retreated back into the depths of the cellar. "We don't have much down here. There's a toilet over there." She pointed to where she'd roughly hung up a ratted old sheet. Even by herself she'd felt too exposed to use the toilet while it was just sitting out in the open like that.
"There's some canned food. Some wine. The only water is coming in through a crack over there. Some camping stuff. That light I found. Only one thick blanket and one sleeping bag."
It would have almost been better if she'd been alone. She wasn't sure how so many people could survive on so little.
