"It's not--" Raven started, but changed her mind mid-sentence. It was probably meant as consolation: look, your eyes are weird, but there are freaky purple-haired kids with dinosaurs, so no one will stare. Raven filed the statement away as a reassurance, and even managed a lopsided smile. "Okay. So when I go back," she wasn't about to say 'if,' "it'll be at about the same time as when I left. Maybe."
She could handle that. Positive thinking, Raven.
"Thank you. The dinosaur sounds cool. I'll have to see if I can track down the girl who has it." She fidgeted in her chair a little, probably as preparation to go. And, in fact, she excused herself a moment later. "That's all I really needed. But. If any Monarch demons show up here - they have red eyes, pointy ears, and sometimes horns or wings - will you guys find me? I can promise that if they show up, it won't be good news and, uh. I'd kind of like a warning."
