Wes fiddled with his watch, pushing his sleeves up past his elbows before leaning on his hands.
"As far as I can tell, it shouldn't be in retaliation for whatever it was you did to whoever it was. None of us seem to have been taken here for any particular reason that we can, well, reason out. It's bloody frustrating, but for some of us," here he smiled at Fred, "it's actually been a sort of blessing in disguise, know what I mean?"
He cleared his throat and leaned back in his chair, mindful of Fred's precarious-looking position.
"Do you want to tell us more about the demons, maybe why they were after you? We actually have quite a bit of experience with demons, both bad and good, as well as various other types of supernatural beings. Maybe we can help you, even a little, with something?"
