"Donno, if we can call it even. You didn't fall down. I got turned." Zoe didn't growl it, and she still looked as if she could do damage. Fortunately, she wasn't in the mood to grab another set of...well, she just wasn't in the mood. She pulled her collar up a little further against the cold before shoving her hands back into her pockets.
"Gotta say, surprised you didn't go down like the rest. You one of those special types I hear about now and then?" Yeah, Zoe heard things on occasion, and she'd even seen some do magic. Or one in particular. Then again, she'd met more than her quota for assholes recently too.
"How long've you been here?" She knew he wasn't one of the City's own; they had a different look to them. They didn't seem to notice much, or if they did, they accepted it too damn quickly.
