Perry turned to watch Zoe wander off in the distance before scuffing through the snow after Wilson, still shivering and clutching at the front of his pants. It was so weird to see snow falling and he was so unaccustomed to how it felt under his sneakers. Honestly, he hadn't seen snow since he was a kid growing up in Pennsylvania... except maybe for a few medical conferences, but really, who was keeping track?
He was uncharacteristically quiet for a few long seconds as his brain tried to process that. Several words jumped out at him. The City, mind, help, hurt, and fictional. However, the moment the word 'Batman' passed Wilson's lips, Cox stopped walking and just stood in the snow, a knowing smirk spreading across his face.
"Ohhhh... and that's where you messed up big time! Newbie!" He whistled shrilly, cocking his head to one side. "Wherever you're hiding, the sooner you get your scrawny ass out here, the less bones I'll break. We'll start at three...!"
This guy was obviously involved in the prank somehow. Honestly, Cox had no idea exactly where Newbie - or whoever had done this, because he was starting to doubt Newbie could pull something like this off - had driven him to to get snow, but he wasn't thinking about that right now. If they expected him to fall for that, though...
"Five!" Cox turned his head back to Wilson, staring at him. "As for you, I'll give you fifty bucks, a lifetime of free healthcare and the chance to not be in a broken jaw commercial if you tell me who put you up to this."
