Ted had been teaching, that was true. Before he'd been taken back to prison for something that he didn't actually do. It had taken Olivia to get students to actually come to his class, however, and he had very little confidence that anybody here was going to want to learn anything from him. He was just going to be teaching things about finance and economics. If Batman were indeed in this city, he doubted very much that something like finance was going to hold the attention of very many.
But he went anyway. Why the hell not.
Unfortunately for him, he was the first teacher to arrive. He looked around at the young faces and almost panicked. He'd been hoping for some sort of buffer. That he might have just snuck in and mingled before anybody could notice him. But now it was like he had a spotlight on him. It was very obvious he wasn't a student. He had to be at least fifteen years older than most of the kids.
The tweed jacket likely didn't help. Why had he picked this jacket? He was going to throw it out when he got home. Or probably donate it to charity, because Charlie wouldn't want him throwing out perfectly good clothes.
