Charlie, on the other hand, wasn't as confused as one might expect. Or if he wasn't, he certainly wasn't showing anything other than a bit of curiosity at the world around him. It wasn't that difficult to be curious about it, but it wasn't any harder to let it all go. He'd forgone apples for apple cider, seeing as it was a little warmer.
He'd taken to walking the streets when he wasn't on a case, or more on the case, seeing as they really only had one. It was more or less solved he supposed, but it didn't feel as if any justice would be had for those whose family members weren't cured. He pulled the coat up a little closer around his ears as he stopped to look in on a few kids throwing snowballs at each other.
With a slightly wistful smile, he turned to continue on his way, only to see something he hadn't expected to see at all. Someone who looked a good bit like his old roommate, the one who was in prison, again. He walked slowly closer, brow raised in question, lips pursed slightly.
"Are you here? Of course, you're here, but shouldn't you be there, not here?"
