Tara mumbled something about what Gavin would say if he were there to see the way Marc was acting. With a pout she leaned against the counter of the kitchen, her arms still crossed across her chest. "Obviously you do need a lecture," she replied, her tone firm before she looked down.
Suddenly the disapproving look on her face disappeared as her expression softened. "I'm sorry, Marc," she said honestly as she let out a heavy sigh. "I'm just upset about Gavin missing Christmas again," she admitted simply. "And I'm worried about you," she added suddenly, with sisterly concern. "I don't want you to be alone on Christmas, too."
