Simon was surprised by that casual coming out, in a pleasant way, and smiled a bit more. Well, it was nice to know he wasn't the only younger gay man in the community. And yes, a part of him also was thinking 'yes! the cute guy is gay!' but that was a smaller part that was not about to do a victory dance now. He just smiled. Subtle.
"I always liked the village, yeah," A 'I'm gay, too' sort of comment, he supposed, "The cafe's were great there, and not only because the cute waiters always flirted," He had a faint colour on his cheeks then as he walked into the living room area. There was already bookshelves and a couch and a chair, but there were boxes with the rest, things to be hung and so on.
"Okay, well, how about you start over there with the books?" He pointed to the boxes by the book cases and headed towards the kitchen area, which was really part of the same room, a half wall divide the separation of the two areas.
