Todd tried his best not to notice that Simon was attractive, because really, at the moment, that was the last thing he wanted to be thinking about. Instead, he focused on how good it had felt to run, and how nice it was to be meeting someone for the first time. He took the offered hand and gave it a good, firm shake - Todd, though often drawn to the feminine side of life, was actually quite masculine and strong, and the handshake demonstrated as much.
"It's really nice to meet you, Simon," he said, grinning. "And really, it's not a problem. I'm kind of on the welcoming committee." He blushed shyly. "Though I would have offered anyway." He looked around the room he had just entered, noting how bare the walls still were, and how their voices echoed off of them. "Your apartment is cute," he said. "I like it."
