With a bit of a smile at the familiarity of the moment, the exchanging of numbers, Rick extended a hand, palm up, for her to write on. "Sure, sure," he murmured, nodding. "Always more fun to explore with someone else."
Meeting people in a new city was always so difficult, Rick was glad to have bumped into someone he -- only slightly -- knew before. He would call her, he thought. She seemed nice enough, especially after they both were so casual about their once-fling, always a telling sign of someone Rick imagined he'd get along with.
