When Todd had finally relinquished his hold on her a bit Winifred did a bit of a spin as she took in the house around her. It wasn't huge and glitteringly luxurious but she really couldn't imagine Todd in something that was. It wasn't that Todd wasn't classy, he was just comforting and homey to her, and glitteringly luxurious just wasn't homey. It was cold and impersonal was what it was, and Winifred had never understood why anyone would want, much less strive for something so horrendous.
"I..."
The hesitation in his tone caused Winifred to stop in the middle of her spin and whip around to look at him in a scrutinizing manner before her smile returned to her features, causing her eyes to squint a little. "Oh, Toddy, we've all known that you've been crazy for a long time, but it's very nice that you've finally come to terms with that! Congratulations!" Winifred said with a laugh. It was obvious that he'd meant that things had been chaotic and probably in the way that wasn't good, but there wasn't any need to spoil the moment until he actually started the story.
Winifred set herself down into the nearest chair and pushed her shoes off by the heels using her big toes as leverage before she curled her legs up on to the chair and stretched her arms up above her head then held them out to either side of herself as if she was calling for another hug, but she changed her posture into one of relaxation and let her arms droop over the arms of the chair she was sitting sideways in. "I'm on semi-sabbatical, Toddy! I've got all the time in the world. Unless it actually takes a full year, but if it would actually take that long to tell I think we may have bigger problems. Tell me, tell me! Don't be shy," she urged with a curious smile.
