Who: Harvey & Mae
What: Harvey has been thrown out of the house for the day.
Where: Around the lake
When: Saturday
As was typical of his weekend routine, Harvey had slept until almost 2pm on Saturday, and he'd woken up to find the house devoid of the crazy women who lived there. He'd thought, of course, that this meant he was off the hook for the entire afternoon, and he had proceeded to get dressed in yesterday's clothing, down two bowls of Fruity Pebbles, and set up his Guitar Hero game in the living room, in front of the bigger and better television. As the man of the house, he felt that, despite his lack of contributions to the bank account, he had the right to set up camp in the living room as he saw fit.
Unfortunately, however, halfway through Harvey's rendition of 'Smoke on the Water', his grandmother came in, saw this display of utter sloth and futility, and immediately pulled the plug on the PlayStation and began to yell at her grandson, talking a blue streak the likes of which he had quite possibly never heard. At the end of her tirade, she announced that he would be spending the rest of the day outside, and she practically tossed him onto the front steps, and then locked the door.
Wearing only a light sweater for warmth, and with only $3.75 in his pocket, there wasn't much Harvey could do, so he set off for a walk around Lake Flannery, hoping that by the time he'd lapped it, dragging his feet as he often did, somebody a little more rational would be home to let him in.
