Seth wasn't at all pleased with himself that he was still in Lake Flannery. After the horrible episode on Monday night - where he had succumb to his most sinful desires to get high again - he knew that he needed to be back in rehab. But leaving Lake Flannery to go back to that hell hole proved to be more difficult that he had expected. He did plan to go back, whether or not anyone believed him, because he did want to get better but there were so many people he had missed the first time he had went. He was making his rounds, so to speak, that and after learning that Samantha was leaving him, he wanted to spend as much time with her as possible.
But now he was off to go have lunch with Violet again, the first woman that understood his pain, understood the losses and the way a heart felt after such traumatic heartache. Maybe it wasn't the best thing to base a friendship off, but he found himself comfortable around her. She didn't judge him, didn't belittle him or tell him how fucked up he was. No, she was just there and supportive in ways that was impossible to explain.
As he approached the cafe, looking shittier than usual but not really giving a damn, he smiled when he spotted her, "Hey," he greeted, his voice low, soft, his eyes appearing lifeless from another sleep deprived night. He couldn't hide the fact that he felt like shit, he knew it was obvious, "Sorry I'm a little late."
