Laughing, Teresa took the book and looked it over. It had actually been on her must-read list for ages, but it always seemed to fall through the cracks for one thing or another. If it wasn't The House of the Spirits, it was The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao.
"I hate Oprah books too. It's not that she recommends bad ones or anything, but it bothers me that everyone acts as if they're part of her damn club," she agreed. Tapping a finger against her lip, as she looked over One Hundred Years of Solitude, she nodded thoughtfully. "Thanks. I definitely want it! I read Love in the Time of Cholera, so I should definitely read this one. Is it better?" she asked.
