Aria had been battling a low-grade headache all day, and there was nothing to be done for it. Ever since the security breach things had been tense, and many of the gifted companions of the Divine Mother had volunteered to place many protective wards around the castle. Aria had been among their number, and as such, hadn't slept much over the past two nights. She'd worked herself to near exhaustion, and the headache was a side effect of overworking her power. She was tired, damnably tired, but the buzzing in her head kept her awake.
Althea was under someone else's care for the day, so Aria went for a walk to try and clear her head. A bit of exercise and some fresh air might do her well. At any rate, it was better than lying in bed and listening to Kondi. Most unfortunately, Kondi was taking advantage of Aria's lowered defenses. As Aria had grown weaker, Kondi's voice had become stronger. She would have to be let out soon. Aria would talk to Althea about it later.
Rounding a corner in the gardens, Aria came across a rather surprising sight. Her sister appeared to be having a staring match with a rabbit. "Calista?" she asked. "Are you well?"
