So two days ago I went out for a movie and drinks with someone, and it was actually pretty fun. Probably not going to have a second date but that's not the point. I was thinking it might be cool for a bunch of us to go see a movie tomorrow. I thought Last Vegas might be good because it's supposed to be funny and none of our facetwins are in it as far as I can tell. So. Who wants to join me for the 7:15 showing? Maybe we can all get pizza afterwards if there's enough interest. Or drinks for the 21 and up crowd. Either or works for me.

im not entirely sure what i am supposed to do with this halloween.

think i also want an ale. possibly several.

I know we've got people hooking each other up with food and board, but what about all that other stuff that people need? Clothes? Phones? Replacements for some of the essentials that got blasted to bits when everything went all explodey?

If you're like me, you're not made out of money, so getting all that stuff back is likely to be tough going. Fortunately for you, if there's anyone who knows how to survive without a wad of green in their pocket, it's me. I've got a certain knack for picking up items on the DL and I can do it for you guys if you tell me exactly what it is you need.

I know the timing sucks. But it's Robin's birthday and it isn't fair that he's getting a crap one so I'm going to try and make it halfway decent.

He and Marian are coming by my room after the Renaissance Faire (my god that is a bitch to spell). We were planning to throw him a party. Much and Marian and Richard and me. He still deserves one, even if it isn't the huge affair we were going for. And I can't bring Much back but I can still show him we all love him and think he's special.

Jane, Charlotte, could one of you pick up a cake for me? It won't be as good as Much's but I'll pay you back. And maybe some sweets we can bribe the nurses with. Martha and I have them mostly under our thumbs but just in case. It'll have to be a small thing and everyone can't stay very late, but even just something, you know?

So there's a lot going on and unfortunately I have something to add to it.

Charlotte and I are at the other Complex. There are still some rooms open here if you, Robin and Marian are looking for a place.

Okay, using what I could of Rose's funds, I've booked some hotel rooms for the next four days at a number of hotels/motels around town. It's not a lot of rooms, but its something and since the Complex is obviously a no-live zone, I figure having space for people to live would be a good idea.

Let me know if you want to claim a room. We're probably going to be trying for more than one person in a room.
