Right, so I think we all need a bit of cheering up. So, I'm going to try and get the calendars actually done. All proceeds will go to charity, and all that shit.
And, I'm going to need two things. Volunteers for the panels for both the guy and gal calendars. And, nominations for who should be in each calendar. Preferably with pictures.
And, yes you can nominate yourself.

Mark off July 31st on your calendars, everyone. That's when Verdant will be holding our date auction with all proceeds going to helping out victims of the earthquake. Thanks so much to everyone who has volunteered to be auctioned off or to help work the event. The rest of you, I expect to see you all there with your wallets. You might score a hot date out if it and you'll be contributing to a really good cause.

How are the new spells coming?
With the destruction being as widespread as it was I'm sure this will come as no surprise to you all. But the building that housed Loki's magic library was completely destroyed during the Earthquake.

I believe I've found us the perfect house. The realtor lowered the price due to the damage sustained during the earthquake but with unlimited funds that was hardly an issue. Structurally the house seems fine but I'd feel safer having the team who built my villa come and look it over.

Hey, everyone! You might remember that I posted about doing a charity date auction at Verdant. We've decided to make it a benefit to help all the quake victims, both displaced and locals. I haven't set a firm date, yet, but I'm looking at maybe early August. I do have a few people signed up to be auctioned off, but I could use some more, so please consider signing up. We could especially use some more women, since there are only a few on my list so far.
This is really just all fun, so don't think you can't sign up if you're seeing someone. People will be bidding for a few hours of your time, but it absolutely doesn't have to be a real date, okay?
Proxy signups will be allowed, but I WILL be confirming with people that they are okay with it.

We've lost two from our world and I'm afraid to say that they won't be the last. But I will say that you all have a tendency to come and go so we may see them again soon. For now we go on living the best we can. With that being said...you all are invited to a family barbecue Monday afternoon. The food will be catered as I don't intend to spend the day slaving over a hot grill. In fact, I don't believe we even have a grill in storage. I'll have a small kids pool set up inside the bath house walls. Robin, Roland, is more than welcome to play in that if he wishes. The rest of us can enjoy the large Roman bath while we eat and drink. There's no need to bring anything with you as its going to be catered but you are more than welcome to bring a dessert if you must.

I've been meaning to bring the idea of biweekly meetings up with all of you for some time now. There are a fair number of us here all will varying degrees of magical capabilities. Some of us have been here for years, others for months, some are new arrivals. While some of us may feel that there is nothing else that we can be taught, the same can't be said for others. So, I propose that we gather together at Loki's library, for a few hours every two weeks. We can share our magical knowledge with each other and perhaps even prepare for the next crisis.
