That never worked out well for me. Only seemed to provoke them more.

I've been staying in Lawrence with it active for years. Nothing seems to really work. We've tried finding it to study it, we've tried teaming up with magic users to try and find a way to stifle it's influence, we've tried...just about everything but ignoring it.
