You're right, it is. Sorry. It's been kind of...chaotic and I'm not - I'm usually a whole lot better with these introduction speeches. Let me try this again.

The Seal is a mystical lock of sorts that helped hold a door shut. That door? It led to Lucifer's cage - also known as the only thing that was keeping him in Hell. Yeah, I know. The Devil. Sounds crazy, right?

Lucifer wanted to start an apocalypse and breaking a bunch of Seals happened to be his way out. The Seal that he broke here? It didn't split so clean. The aftermath created some kind of invisible portal, one that's got the power to drag people in from all over. Different universes, different places in time - you think it, the Seal can and will probably do it. This time? It picked you.

As for your stuff? Uh, well. Sometimes the Seal drags the same person back and forth a few times. They might leave some stuff behind, ranging from physical belongings to memories. Sometimes, though, those memories just...they up and vanish altogether.

I think that might be what happened to you.

No, not shitting you. It's the truth. We'd even played a little quiditch together, and you got me interested in playing muggle sports. I also like muggle movies. Might be hard to believe, but I'm not completely like my father was. No Dark Mark. I could show you my arm to prove it if you'd like?

It did happen. I doubt it is much different than having to believe a man could split his soul into seven pieces in order to be immortal. Well.. maybe a little different. Most don't really believe in angels, devils, Lucifer, hell, monsters, and all that.

Well, you know what they say - don't knock it til you try it. I don't see what's wrong with muggle sports. Or Chuck Norris. He's cool too. ~~And this coming from what you know of my family, it must be weird~~ Sure, quidditch is awesome but variety is good too. ~~You might have actually said that about having variety~~ I swear I'm not on drugs. Starting to wonder if I should be anyway, though.

What, about splitting the soul to be immortal? Horcruxes. Voldemort had this plan to have, well.. backups of himself. Or something. Nice plan, but it left him old, ugly, bald, and without a nose. But really, you're a witch, went to a school of magic, know tons of spells, is badass at magic, seen so many extraordinary things.. and being teleported to another world of supernatural threats is hard to believe? But you don't have to call me kid, Scor works just fine.

Yeah, I hate him too. And if he came here, I'd be one of the first joining the fight to stop him. So.. okay, you probably shouldn't worry much, there's a chance you might be here a week or two and then get sent back home. You could probably try to do some fun stuff til then so the time goes faster? It's what I would do anyway.
