I feel very fortunate that not only did Rose open up her cabin to us after the earthquake destroyed our home, but Regina and I were able to find a new house with relative ease. We are told that we may move in this week and I feel truly blessed by our good fortune.

The house is fairly large and we do have a couple of extra rooms, so if there is anyone out there that needs a comfortable place to stay while the new community is being built, please let myself or Regina know. It is more space than we truly need for us and our sons and we would be happy to share it with others who are in need of shelter.

I have no doubt in my mind that Rose see's it as repaying a favour. No matter what I might say.

We have two rooms, my love. Though they are large enough that two people could share until the new community is built.

Regardless of the reason, it was kind of her.

Indeed, that is exactly what I was thinking.

Yes, it was.

And it just so happens that the extra rooms are the farthest away from ours.

Very much so. We'll be able to enjoy those times when it is just the two of us more often.

Whatever will we do with the time?

Oh, I'm sure we'll be able to find something to do.

Well, the furniture is all new. We may have to test its durability.

Testing its durability is the most logical thing we can do. We also have a brand new shower that we can inspect.

Yes, I do believe a thorough inspection of the water pressure will be needed.

It may even take us four or five thorough inspections. Perhaps a week long study.

Yes. It's important to be thorough.

That's actually pretty nice of you. I mean, I don't have anything to offer in exchange for it, in all honesty. I'd feel weird just crashing at someone's house, you know?

When I first arrived here nearly three years ago I was offered a place to stay. I had nothing to offer in return but this wonderful woman still offered me a place to stay. And those living with her welcomed me with open arms. I'm telling you this because it doesn't matter if you have nothing to offer. We do not need anything in return.

As for the "weird" feeling you mention you'll have. Believe me, dear, it does pass eventually.

As Regina said, you don't need to have anything to offer. We all lost our homes in the earthquake and we want to do what we can to help others.
