With the destruction being as widespread as it was I'm sure this will come as no surprise to you all. But the building that housed Loki's magic library was completely destroyed during the Earthquake.

I believe I've found us the perfect house. The realtor lowered the price due to the damage sustained during the earthquake but with unlimited funds that was hardly an issue. Structurally the house seems fine but I'd feel safer having the team who built my villa come and look it over.

	It truly isn't. That library held a wealth of knowledge about magic that could be used in the future. Not to mention it was the perfect location to hold our meetings. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	The bakery took some damage but it's still standing. Xavier and I quickly poofed over to the villa earlier and it's still standing. But I knew it would be. [FILTER] I've enjoyed living in this cabin. As Robin said its quite homey. And certainly different from what I'm used to. But you know me, dear, the more space the better. That's something, at least. I think we might want to take a closer look at the villa in a few weeks, though. You know, do a really through inspection, just in case. It could take days to be sure it's really okay.

	I do believe you're right, dear. The villa is in need of a more thorough inspection. At least 8 days but it could take longer. There is quite a bit of property to inspect. I believe most of the books were spelled to return to the library automatically if kept out too long. They may also have been spelled to return to their exact location. Whether or not that was the same spell I cannot say. Or who was responsible for that particular warding.

But in my experience there is always a little bit of magic in each spell book. So, we may want to be prepared for anything.

Bonnie has all ready informed you of the Hogwarts library, so I won't have to. I'd been meaning to let everyone know that it had disappeared but never had a chance.

We're hoping to be able to recover some of the library from the rubble. Once I know what we have I'll announce it to the displaced.
