I don't understand the point of yesterday. The celebrating, the - fireworks? - the party and everything. This is how you grieve in this world? How you put people to rest?

There was a memorial service in the park that the council organized instead of the usualy fireworks we have for the 4th of July.

Sometimes, people want to celebrate their friends lives, as well as mourn their passing.
