ive not known what to say on this thing for a while. which is odd. i suppose ive just been busy making sure things are good off at sherwood. its different having a say in things now. i think i rather like it. i tell someone to do something and it gets done. they dont question me or look down on me because i dont know fancy words. ive never been in this position before but i think i am going to like it.

[lydia]
i like what you have done with things.

[marian]
you mentioned something about building in the servants quarters but i lost track of things. what do you want to build?

It will be different than that, yes. But I think you'll find a lot of fulfillment with it.

It goes quite well.

it was rather fun at times. but this is also. i can provide what i want for others instead of just what happens to be there.

im glad. do you like it?

Fancy words mean so little. You do the job and the people who work for you clearly respect your skill.

Its a wonderful thing you're all doing

they seem a little pointless lately. think i got lucky with a good staff also. i used to cook in a forest. i had no ingredients like here. all i had was whatever we collected and hoped it wasnt deadly and still made it taste good. im glad i can do it here now. this food is all amazing compare to squirrel and rabbit.

thank you. i hope itll make a difference.

I know you did. You're all pretty famous.

Oh it will. Of course it will.

famous? im just much. robins the famous one.

youd have liked itt if i cooked it. made a stew of it all it was quite good really. cooked it with mead. rabbits were harder to catch. and the others always whined at hunting.

im glad.

I was thinking maybe Uncle Much might like to help me turn the servant's quarters into a very big and impressive play area. I know you're busy with work but we have plenty of time before the baby is toddling about.

It shouldn't be too difficult. A few walls down, some new carpeting. We can look up ideas online together.

Oh, it does. So does the tv. I've been watching a number of those home makeover shows. And if we mess up it isn't as if those rooms were being used anyway.

We've already chosen names, silly, and I'm afraid Much didn't make the cut this time. But we do have something more important we'd like to ask of you.

Yes, but it was very helpful when we first arrived to help learn about this world.

Yep. Naming the baby after my father if it's a boy or the queen if it's a girl. Now if only we had a godfather for him or her...

We have, actually. We pretty much knew the moment I found out i was expecting. The thing is, we just kept assuming he knew and neither of us got around to actually asking him.

It's your lead I follow.

I have been. It's the only way I can learn fast enough.

I hope that the ones we help have enjoyed what we offer.
