The community theatre here is holding auditions for My Fair Lady. Does anyone here have a taste for the arts? I've decided to participate. I may not be an effective monster hunter like the rest of you, but I have quite the knack for putting on a performance and it would be unfair to withhold my muse from the world.

Even if it isn't my own.

If this community theatre is anything like the one that I was involved with at home, I'm certain that they will. They have more people auditioning for roles than they do for behind the scenes participation.

University was actually when I discovered that I had a halfway competent muse. I'm convinced that it was my need to escape the studying process that brought me to the stage.

You're certainly going to need to practice before the rehearsal if you're hoping to be cast.

Yes. I have no doubt that you're in for quite the competition if you decide to audition for the part.

But if you have the vocal talent and the ability to portray her character in a way that the audience can truly appreciate, then you should absolutely go for it.

Are any of the displaced auditioning for the role? I wouldn't want to compete against friends! But I think I could maybe do the role well enough!
