Is it? I was asked once why I keep doing this. Why I can help people without even a second thought. I dont have an answer to that anymore. I don't know what to do. Connor always knew what I should do but the truth is ive been making most of this up as I go. But why?

Ive lost just about every one of them at least once. Even Clark. Every one who says they'll be there..I don't know what to do anymore.

You want to count how many times I've lost the Doctor? Anna, Juliet, Elena... Nearly every friend I've had here, I've lost. I have to find an office manager because the Seal keeps taking mine. And I've threatened to give up this war so many times. Even back home, I threatened to give it all up.

But I go on because it's the right thing to do. Because I have the ability to help others. I'm angry with myself for allowing people to suffer while I did nothing the last few months and I want to make up for it.

It's what Connor would do, Kon. You know that. He and Abby fought back home, Becker could tell you more. But she once told me how they focus on saving not just the people but the creatures they come in contact with, too. Not because they feel like it, but because it's the right thing to do.

Take some time to yourself. Relax, stay away from it all for a bit. Try and get your head together. But in the end, you're a hero. You wouldn't know how to turn your back on people in need if you wanted to.

	Five years in this is a long time Rose..I just don't know if I'm that strong anymore. You know you don't have to make up for anything after that. I don't know anymore. I'm tired of doing the right thing all the time and ending up burned. I did consider Hawaii.. (Reply to this) (Parent)
