	It is fascinating what different oil essences and scents can be used for. If that does not help with the insomnia, try valerian root extract. That usually helps me sleep when I cannot. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Yes, aside from telling her. lol She knew how much upset I was that I didn't have friends from home here to want to throw me a baby shower. She really didn't have to do that for me but I'm so glad she did. It meant a lot.

...and inviting my guy friends, too? GENIUS on her part. That's not traditional at all and I know she's from, like, the 80s or whatever, so I'm not sure what possessed her to go that route, but I wouldn't have had it any other way :)

In other news, while we're on the subject of babies...sort of...did you want to be in charge of letting people know when I go to the hospital or did you want me to give that to Florence since you're already going to be there for the labor and I'm still waiting to hear back from Martha on whether Florence can come in with us or if there's already too many.

Well, it was my idea, but I had loads of volunteers helping with baking and decorating and the like. And apparently I wasn't the only one thinking about doing it. Unfortunately, said givers were of the male variety and shouldn't really be allowed near anything resembling a baby shower. But God love them, they tried.

Oh for goodness sake, woman, how many times can you cry in one day! I'm beginning to think I don't want to be pregnant!

	I'm keeping my mouth shut for the sake of their dignity. Just remember that Clark and the Doctor both care very much for you and the boys. That bad huh? haha The Doctor? Mr. I'm Rubbish At Domestics? Oh, my God...that is so sweet! Was it their idea, then, or yours to let it be a coed party? Whoever that was, I'm really glad. I never would've thought I'd have a baby shower with men around but...I wouldn't have it any other way now that I have. :)

Oh sweetie, pregnancy is like PMS on crack. Ask Clark and Kon sometime lol because they get the brunt of my mood swings; especially, obviously, Clark, but he takes it like a man and he's been very patient with me, bless him.

To be honest, I hadn't thought of anything else. They wanted to be involved, Chuck baked the cupcakes... ~~We don't know all that many people here so~~ I never really understood the point of having women sit around oohing and aahing when watching men play Diaper the Baby Doll is much more fun.

Oh, God. Just...wow. ~~Why Kon, isn't he like, 16?~~ He does get bonus points for that, I have to say.

Chuck baked? I didn't know men even really knew what baking was haha That's awesome. And watching Diaper the Baby Doll was probably the highlight of my life, I'm not even gonna lie.

They both do. Kon mostly because that child has some pretty horrible timing. I don't think he likes me with Clark, honestly, and we've gotten into a couple of text message wars over it. Especially after he found out by coming over to visit Clark when Clark was at work and my dumb ass answered the door. Oops? But he bounces back and puts up with me as well, so good on him.

There's still a few things I want to get, decor-wise, for the makeshift nursery. Clark said he was going to section off something to make room for it for me...I could use some help picking wall-papers and paint, if you're interested :)

Ha, well, imagine the difference between now and 2005 for baby things, then! When I was shopping for my friend Anneliese, I didn't even know where to begin, because there were so many cute things. Now it's even harder!
