Where the hell did my summer go?

Though I am excited for my Italian Renaissance art class. Also continuing on with French. And I got into Modern Dance I which fulfills my art requirement so woo!

Who else is attending this year?

So, let me get this straight.  In the seven years that I appear to have lost, there was an averted apocalypse?  And now, we're trying to stop both angels and demons who want to restart it again?

And, most importantly, I have twin baby girls, who I don't remember?

Bo is starting kindergarten in just a couple of weeks and I'm so not ready for this. We're doing back to school shopping (is it still called back to school when she's never been to school?), meeting her teacher and the other kids, and meanwhile I have to sit back and remember she's five now and she's meant to be in school. Even if it terrifies me.

I don't know who okay'ed her growing up, but it wasn't me.

I tried to find something to say about this. But it seems to speak for itself, Apollo.

I'm leaving at four in the morning tomorrow to get on a plane to travel to California for a week. I'm going to be avoiding the boards the entire week so if you have to reach me text or call. I'll try and answer promptly.

I had a lovely time at dinner. That was an excellent restaurant. And I'm sorry it took so long to tell you. I've been a bit swamped with getting ready for the trip and finishing up work. I know it was your way of thanking me but I'd like to return the favor. How do you feel about Italian food?

Tomorrow I will have been here for a year, how the hell did that happen?!

Also? Not dead yet! Go me and my barely working lungs! Woohoo!

Is this a cause for celebration? Is that a thing? How does that work?!

So...are those videos in driver's ed classes actually factual or something? It almost seems like they're trying to make them as bloody/horrific as possible to scare teens on how to drive cautiously.

That said, I just need to find time to take my driver's test and I'll be a licensed driver officially.

So there's a week left of camp and, like Caroline so gently reminded us all, only twenty days till classes start back.

I want a vacation in there somewhere. And I want the people I love included. That means you lot.

Anyone interested? I'm thinking somewhere quiet peaceful and relaxing. But different. If there's cultural or historical aspects, all the better.
